Hello Everyone!

Well, it is my last week of pre-season for soccer...which is a good thing!  We only have one-a-days this week so I really and not going to know what to do with myself.  Life in general has been really good though.  I've met a lot of really cool people.  Some that I want to keep close and others..well..that I want to stay distant, but in college that will always be the case.  Other than soccer though there hasn't been many new occurrence going on here in Sioux Falls.  Lifelight is this weekend here and I am extremely excited!  It will be great!  There are like 200 Christian bands coming and it is all free...that's right FREE!!!  Isn't that amazing!  So if anyone would like to come to the amazing event I would highly suggest it.  Just look it up on the Internet and it will show you where in Sioux Falls it is...and then...hey...wonderful thought; you could visit me!  Wow!  Wouldn't that be fun...even better than the concerts itself.

Anyway, so  I've been looking at churches that I want to go to on Sunday mornings.  I tried one out yesterday morning and it was decent.  I think I'm going to go check out some others too though. Oh and on Sunday nights there is this service called the Crossing.  I went to it with some of the soccer girls.  Wow!  It's amazing!  I love it. Oh, and get this after the service they serve you supper!  Yeah..FREE supper...you've got to love that when you are a college student.

We had our first soccer game yesterday and lost 0-2 and boy do we have a lot of things to work on.  So even though we only have one practice a day this week...I have a feeling they will still be pretty intense.   I think I'm going to go ice skating with some of the girls this week...oh and our other big trip is to go to Savers....which will be extremely exciting seeing I've never been there before.  Anyway, that's about all for now.  Hope all is going well with everyone!  Miss you all and God bless-Kara

Wow!  It's been pretty crazy down on this end.  I just moved into college yesterday and am now underway doing three-a-day practices!  I know, crazy, but that's how it goes I guess.  So I've been pretty tired so far and I'm sure it won't get much better on that note.  Anyway, thank you to all who told me happy birthday by the way, that was very amazing; especially since I was in a new environment yesterday; it can be a really weird feeling.  The dorms are pretty empty here too because it's only the athletes on campus right now and the other students don't arrive until September 4th...yeah I know....3 weeks by my self, what am I going to do?  Well, that's really about all that's been going on.  Just moving in and getting all of my things arranged, meeting some soccer girls and playing soccer non-stop all day.  I kind of feel like I could be on one of those moves that are all about a certain sport and they have to go to a really intense camp to get in shape and get better.  It really could be me.  Anyway, if you all could also keep me in your prayers; a lot of the soccer girls choose to do things that I don't care to nor want to participate in so if you could just pray for continued strength that would be amazing.  I love you all and hope your summer is going on tremendously. God Bless-Kara

Hello all!  So life has been pretty good down here so far...however I haven't been home much lately either...I'm still not home as a matter of fact.  After spectacularific camp regretfully ended, I went to Strawberry Lake to stay for a bit and finally decided to drive the dreadful eight hours back home on Wednesday.  So then I was home all Thursday but then Friday I had to babysit at 7:30-4:00 and that day at about 4:30 my family and I took off to Missouri where I am today and will be until Saturday, July 8th.  I know...it's pretty ridiculous really.

Oh how much I do miss all of you!  The laughter, heart to heart talks, cry fests and all.  Camp was truly, as always, an amazing and moving experience and I can't wait to see all of you again.  As a reminder to all, keep praying for each other; prayer is really a powerful thing!  A gift from God.  To be able to talk one-on-one with our Father in heaven...wow...it would almost sound like we have magical powers or something.  Just remember, if you are hurting, frustrated, or even just want to tell someone about an exciting day...I am here, and I know everyone else from camp is there to listen as well.  At camp we were a community and we will forever be a community.  I love you all!

God Bless,

Kara

Hi all my wonderful fantabulous friends!

So I do realize that my last post was in January..yeah..pretty bad I might say...but you know me...really bad at updating.  Sure, when it was a new gadget it was pretty fun do--update here and there, get comments..but then the "Yoder" gene of forgetfulness sets in and now we are to present day.

So, what has been going on in the life of Kara Danielle Niederhauser since January...oh wow...where do I start...I've been too busy to even write really.  School has been getting more and more tiring and senioritis is setting in pretty deep right now.  A job has still not arrived for me yet...although this summer I think I will be taking on about two babysitting jobs so that should be interesting.  Graduation is approaching fast and my heart beat is moving even faster by each passing day.  I am going to the University of Sioux Falls by the way and majoring in Psychology...I'm pretty pumped..I do believe I will be playing soccer there too! Very excited!  Soccer right now is going very awful for me...if you want to know more you can ask me..but I might get a little worked up...it's very frusterating...so maybe if you guys could pray about that aspect of my life right now..I know some might not understand how a sport could get so frusterating and maddening..but it does and it can.  That would be greatly appreciated!

Breakfast Club is going pretty good.  We are having a clothing drive next week so I have been working on getting that going...seems like it si a never ending process..but the pay off iwll be good.  Oh let me see....other odds and ends of stuff here and there...

My sister got married..don't remember if I told any of this..but she did...it was pretty cool I guess...she eloped and went to Mexico.

Well, I am sure I will think of other stuff to say later..but right now that's all I have so until the next update..which I promise will be sooner than this one...at least before camp time rolls around...I love ya'll and miss ya like more than I like better than anything cake...and to let you all know..better than anything cake is my favorite!

God Bless!

Well, I have now been officially tagged by people...so here goes my 5-10 odd statements about myself....

1.) I have my own motto: "Really everyone is weird, so therefore weird is normal and normal is weird because everyone is weird...but who came up with the standard of normal anyway?"...It's a tough one to think about...I know...

2.) Sometimes I like to sit on the couch and hold my right arm straight up in the air...It's comfortable

3.) I get heartburn when I eat raw broccoli or colifower...

4.) I'm pretty much addicted to gum...especially bubble gum! The original of course...I even love bubble gum ice cream and pop, oh so delicious!

5.) My arms are very crooked...I mean they are curvey something terrible...I'll even show you...that is if i see you soon...

6.) Sometimes I like to just lay on my bed and listen to music and think for long periods of time...

7.) I absolutely love Iowa...it's a great state and Waverly, Iowa is a great town....but I miss all of those who aren't in Iowa greatly!

8.) I am very forgetfull! I mean bad! I'm pretty sure that there is a long history of it in the Yoder family though, along with the longer toe(the one right next to the big toe)...but I'm pretty for sure I drew the short end of the stick on this one...

9.) In kindergarden I got in trouble and my name was written on the board with a check mark behind it...I cried

10.) I absoutely love giving  advice to people and getting to know people...it's very rewarding....

Well, that about it for now...I'm sure I could come up with more...I'm an odd person.  I will, however, retire for the night.  So goodnight everyone...and as always I love ya'll!
